The next meeting of the Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be held on Sunday, February 28. Everyone is warmly welcome. Patrick Mattimore, who has written commentaries for a variety of publications including some in Asia, will talk about how the English press under government control differs, and is similar to, the Western press. The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea Restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort). The program starts at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
A Joint Chambers Eastern Seaboard Networking Evening will be held at the Holiday Inn Pattaya on Friday, February 26 from 6. p.m. – 9 p.m. (last drinks served at 8.30 p.m.). The Riviera Jomtien will be hosting a grand party on Saturday, Feb. 27 to acknowledge the residential project’s recent E.I.A. approval. The Pattaya International Music Festival will take place from March 18-20 at several stages sited along Pattaya Beach Road. Big name local artists will join 10 international acts from Southeast Asia to headline the annual 3-day event that will provide a variety of live music to suit all tastes, including world, country, and rock music. Food stalls and small product shops will also be positioned along Beach Road for the duration of the festival.
