The annual Hoffenheim Supporters Charity Soccer Tournament will kick-off once again at the Swiss School Bangkok campus in Minburi on Saturday January 29.  Eight teams will compete for the Ambassador’s Cup and there will be plenty of entertainment for families including a large bouncing castle, cinema, arts and crafts, a family relay and massages.  German food/beer and soft drinks will be served throughout the day.  All proceeds of the event, under the patronage of the German, Swiss and Austrian Embassies will be used to support children in great need. Clubs and Associations

The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be on Sunday, January 15.  The guest speaker will be Dr. Jittapan Chureeganon, Ophthalmologist with the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya Eye Center.  The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort).  The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Everyone is warmly welcome.
