The next meeting of the Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be held on Sunday, January 31. Everyone is warmly welcome. Trevor Knight and Mark Stainton James from Buzzin Media Group will talk about their online guide to what’s happening in and around Pattaya. The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea Restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort). The program starts at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

The 8th Pattaya Bed Race will take place on Sunday, Jan 31 with the pre-race parade and music concerts starting at 4 p.m. Local and international teams will push their highly decorated mobile beds from Central Festival Pattaya Beach shopping mall in a race to the finish line at Walking Street. Nong Nooch Tropical Garden will stage the International Active Run 2016 on Sunday, January 31 starting at 5.30 a.m. Limited to just 1000 runners, the event will feature 3 race distances of 21km (half marathon), 10.5km (mini marathon) and a 4km (fun run). An expected 50,000 motorcycle enthusiasts will attend the annual Burapha Bike Week which is taking place in Pattaya from Feb 12-13. Bike clubs from around world will participate in the annual festival at the Eastern National Indoor Sports Stadium on Soi Chaiyapruek 2. Some big-name rock acts are also expected to appear both days.
