Events

The Regent’s School Christmas Fair returns after a twelve year absence on Saturday 1st December.  The Fair is open to all and will have something for everyone including a variety of stalls where you can purchase Christmas presents for your family and friends, plenty of seasonal food and drink in the Christmas café, Christmas carols, and lots of free games for the children to enjoy.  Santa Claus himself will be popping along to spend some time in his Christmas Grotto.  For more information, call 038 4 18 777.

The spectacular King’s Cup Jet Skiing World Cup 2012 takes place from 5-9 December at Jomtien Beach with the races being held morning and afternoon.  Competitors from 32 countries will be taking part including professional racers on 1800cc powered seated jet-skis and the world’s best freestyle riders.  The 5-day event will also feature a Miss Bikini contest and will be aired live on TV on ESPN Sports channel.

Clubs and Associations

The next Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) meeting will be on Sunday, Dec. 2.  Everyone is warmly welcome.  The speaker will be John W. Ryan, Australian Private Detective.  He will be speaking about his recent book “I Survived” wherein he revisits Australia’s Whisky Go-Go Murders and exposes widespread corruption.  The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort).  The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9 to 11 a.m.
