Following on from the successful monthly networking events in Bangkok and of
course the annual gala parties here in Pattaya, the Movers & Shakers team
launched their first regular networking at the Havana Bar at the Holiday Inn on
March the 8th.
So as not compete with established network events in town, Movers & Shakers
Pattaya will be held quarterly and will be held exclusively at the Havana Bar
under the watchful eye of new General Manager Garth Solly.
Kingdom Properties have generously decided to support Movers & Shakers for both
the monthly events in Bangkok and every three months in Pattaya, but have
allowed for a secondary sponsor to join in as well.

Security Services, Van den Bergh Louis, MD of 4A Properties Realty and Dutch
artist Martin H.A.P. van Bree.
It was somewhat appropriate that the co sponsor for this event was Mix 88.5
(Russell Darrell) who has had a long association with the CEO of Kingdom
Properties: Nigel Cornick.
The admission fee was 750 baht for men and 400 baht for ladies and voucher
holders, offering great value with free flow beer, wine and soft drinks and
delicious finger food.
The founder of Movers and Shakers is Cees Cuijpers (the managing partner of Town
& Country Property), a man who is very well acquainted with the networking scene
in Pattaya. He explained that he wanted to get the focus back onto corporate
networking and to entice people from Bangkok down to Pattaya using prestige
venues where people in business can perhaps do more business.
Over two hundred people attended this very first event, which is a credit not
just to Movers and Shakers but also to the sponsors who are both highly
respected in town and the Havana bar which for many is one of the best venues in
Pattaya.
For those who wanted to continue mingling and drinking, the Havana bar offered
drinks at discounted prices and there was also another after party at the new
night club on Walking Street: The Pier, again with discounts for those who had
attended the earlier networking.
The next Movers & Shakers in Pattaya will again be at the Havana Bar probably on
the 14th of June and if you fancy a trip up to Bangkok there will be another one
of their monthly events on Friday the 29th of March at the Glaz bar in the Plaza
Athenee Hotel on Wireless Road.
