Central Festival Pattaya Beach is showcasing Thai silk, jewelry,
souvenirs and accessories in its Asian Bazaar Zone through April 7.
Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome, Central General Manager Theeraporn Jitnawa,
and Sompot Jantawan, general manager of the TSix5 Hotel opened the
ground-floor expo March 16. The ceremony also featured a Thai-arts
performance by students from Pattaya School No. 8 and an exhibit by
local freelance artists, including line drawings and blown-glass
sculptures.
The Asian Bazaar Zone offers 20 booths selling souvenirs from tourist
attractions such as the Jim Thompson House, famous brands such as
NaRaYa, and other silk, jewelry and accessories. Shoppers also can enjoy
Thai cultural arts, fruit-carving demonstrations, Thai massage, glass
blowing and cultural shows sponsored by the TSix5 Hotel.
“I am delighted that Central Festival Pattaya Beach has sponsored Thai
products, a move all sectors should assist with to make Thai products
more well-known to the international market,” Itthiphol said. “The
products shown in the Asian Bazaar Zone are all of excellent quality,
whether they are wood carvings, home decorations, or souvenirs.”
