More than 100 members of the Pattaya Women’s Development Group
earned certifications in women’s rights with hopes they’ll pass on their
knowledge to others in their communities.
Deputy Mayor Wutisak Rermkitkarn presented the certificates to the 130
women at city hall April 25. The awards show they completed the “Women’s
Rights and Manners in Society” course March 3-5 in Suphanburi.
“The training was very beneficial to the women and was also a good sign
as the beginning of the development of women to have knowledge and
understanding regarding their rights and the protection of the rights
they will receive,” Wutisak said. “Hopefully they will broadcast the
knowledge to other females in the same community.”
