excursion to Isaan.

Pattaya Elderly Club members will donate robes and necessities
to monks in two Issan cities starting June 19.
At a May 3 meeting, President Pranee Manesarn invited the club’s 300
members to be part of the June excursion, which will see the seniors
make merit at temples in Udon Thani and Nong Khai.
The meeting also updated members on merit-making activities in Pattaya
and offered health checks to the senior citizens.
Six groups of members have been working to raise funds for the trip,
which will stop June 19 at Udon Thani’s Pa Banho and Pa Phuthong temples
in Banphue District; Pa Khantiyanusorn in Namsom District, and on June
20, at Photchai Temple in Nong Khai.
The field trip will also stop to pay respect to Luang Pho Phrasai, a
famous Buddhist teacher residing near the Kong River.
