Was it an accident, or
done on purpose? Until the hit and run driver is found, there is no way
to be certain.
Patcharapol Panrak
Sattahip police are looking for the driver of a Nissan sedan
involved in a hit-and-run with … a 7-Eleven.
Employees at the convenience store located at a PTT gas station in Bang
Saray scrambled to get out of the way as the Almera compact barreled
into the glass-fronted shop around 3 p.m. Nov. 19. The store sustained
about 50,000 baht in damage, but no one was injured.
Assistant Manager Klitsana Weecheernchai saw the Nissan come into the
gas station at high speed and attempt to corner into a 7-Eleven parking
lot quickly. But instead of hitting the brakes, the driver apparently
hit the accelerator, pulverizing the font of the store.
The Nissan’s driver did not stick around to assess any damage or
injuries, immediately reversing and high-tailing it out of the gas
station toward Pattaya. Security cameras caught a look at the car, but
it appeared to be missing its license plate.
