Paul Staves, who has a B.A. in Fine Art from Loughborough College of Art
& Design, has been living in Thailand since 1991 in Koh Samui,
Narathiwat, and now Kanchanaburi.
The show at the Royal Garden Plaza is his fourth one-man show in
Thailand. Paul is also a member of the Bangkok Arts Group.
Paul was quoted as saying, “With my work, I am constantly stimulated by
the breath of natural beauty here, and constantly try to capture what I
see with a realistic style of painting. I am not interested in a
“fashionable” style, but only to faithfully record what I see.”
Looking at the examples on this page, one can see the artist has a
wonderful eye for beauty and an abundance of talent to display that
beauty.
