The management of the Siam Bayview Hotel hosted a birthday party for all employees who were born in January.

Admiral Prasong Songkroh, Commander of Sattahip Naval Base, led a ceremony to celebrate the 47th anniversary of Sattahip Naval Base. Government officials and former commanders were honoured guests at this celebration. Sujarit Pajchimnan, Governor of Chonburi was also present at the ceremony. A festive dinner was held in the evening on the lawn of the base. Musical performances were held and people celebrated and indulged in nostalgia.
