Rainstorm shatters elevator windows at
Pattaya Centre Hotel
3 injured from glass and metal
falling 18 stories

Three people were injured, none seriously, when high winds caused
parts of a scenic elevator in the Pattaya Centre Hotel to break
apart sending glass and medal framework falling 18 storeys. The
falling debris also destroyed a pick-up truck, did major damage to a
nearby house and closed Soi 12 for several hours.
