Individual scouts were recognized for meritorious achievement, as were supporters from area communities involved with scouting activities.

Following the conference the scout council members traveled to Sattahip to tour the complex where the “20th World Scouting Jamboree” will be held beginning December 28, 2002 and ending on January 8, 2003.

Preparations started three years ago to support 30,000 scouts (14-17 years old) from 150 countries who are expected to attend the Jamboree.
