Music Festival frenzy erupts today

Get ready for traffic chaos as hundreds of thousands flock to ‘Fun City’ 

The Pattaya Music Festival 2003 is on this weekend, and city fathers say they are ready for the hundreds of thousands of music fans expected to flock to Fun City over the weekend. The Festival is schedule to run from Friday March 21 through to midnight Sunday March 23.

Poramet and Chanida wed in lavish ceremony

Poramet Ngamphiches joined his beautiful bride Chanida Kamnuanmasok in matrimony early February 23 at the bride’s house in Bangkok. Hundreds of guests gathered to witness the ceremony. A religious ceremony at Sansak Ngamphiches’s house in Bangkok completed the couple’s holy union.

Pattaya celebrates Thai Elephant Day with a host of thousands in attendance

Thousands of residents and tourists turned out for Pattaya’s version of Thai Elephant Day last Thursday afternoon to watch these enthralling giants at play. Almost 100 elephants and their mahouts from Pattaya’s tourist attractions also turned up to show off their animal’s unique skills and give them a chance to enjoy a massive feast prepared especially for the jumbos.

The competition was started under grey cloudy skies on both the 1st and 10th tees and with a relatively light start list of 66 competitors, most of the competitors were soon underway. As the golfers were underway the rain ceased but the grey skies remained. It appears Herbie had had a word with the Rain Gods.
