Clubs

The UK Club of Pattaya is holding a sponsored Charity pub-crawl on St. Georges Day, Wednesday April 23, leaving the Pig & Whistle at 6 p.m. Everyone welcome to join, if you can’t do the walk please sponsor someone who can. The Skๅl Club of Pattaya and East Thailand will host their next monthly meeting on Thursday April 24 at Yorkies Pork Platter (Beach Road, Jomtien). Pre-lunch drinks from 12 midday and lunch from 12.30 p.m. With a guest speaker Dr. Iain Corness who will give an update and further information on SARS. Dining

Events

The BCCT in cooperation with Cool Zone Mist Cooling Systems Co Ltd and MBMG International Co Ltd invites you to an International Networking Evening on the Eastern Seaboard on Friday April 25 from 6.30 pm at Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa, Central Pattaya. All are very welcome to attend regardless of nationality. The main objective is to provide an opportunity for networking for business people based in the Eastern Seaboard area with members of the BCCT in Bangkok. Sponsored beverages and snacks on a first-come, first-served basis from 6.30 p.m. All other beverages are at standard prices as will the sponsored supplies have run out. Non-members and guests will be charged 300 baht per person for entry to this event. Should they join the BCCT within three months of April 24th 2003 they will receive a refund of 300 baht per company membership.

The Blue Lagoon Watersports Club will host its ‘2nd Annual Windsurfing Championship’ on April 26 and 27 with the ‘1st Kiteboarding Jump Contest’. The windsurfing competition counts towards the national championship. All levels will be represented and everybody is welcome to participate or just visit. Johny “O” now sings country and western and easy listening at the Queen Victoria Inn every night at 9 weekdays and every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, check at the bar for details. Exhibitions

JND Art Gallery in Soi Day Night 2 presents a unique Art Exhibition from artist Marco. A display of his series of works in Thailand is on show the South Pattaya gallery. Marco, who uses his 4ft long beard as a paintbrush creates both water and oil masterpieces on canvas is strongly influenced by historical sites and temple in the land of smiles.
