SERVING THE EASTERN SEABOARD OF THAILAND |
Happy Songkran!
It’s that time of the year again
Although the annual Songkran Festival has wound down in the rest of the country, it’s just getting into full swing here on the Eastern Seaboard. The traditional celebration in Naklua takes place today, April 18, and in Pattaya tomorrow, April 19. There will be parades at both areas in the morning, then the traditional religious ceremonies, followed by, no doubt, complete mayhem throughout the rest of the day. Expect traffic to be at a complete standstill, and if you happen to venture outside, be prepared to get thoroughly drenched. Whether you choose to partake in the fun or would rather sit inside and wait it out, we at the Pattaya Mail wish you and yours a most Happy Songkran!
