Witthaya Khunpluem, permanent secretary to the ministry
of human development and stability and the president of the Chonburi
Athletics Association, officially kicked off the camp.
The camp is part of a nationwide football clinic provided
by Honda where the selected participants are taught the finer values of team
sports, techniques and skills used in play and the importance of
sportsmanship in the game of football.
The camp was provided free of charge to encourage the youngsters to
engage in sports, ending last Friday with a special football match to show
off what they had learned in the previous five days.
