The votes are in - Pattaya has a new mayor

Niran Wattanasartsathorn takes narrow victory

Pattaya’s voting public has had their say, and most said that Niran Wattanasartsathorn was the best choice on the ticket to hold the office of Pattaya Mayor.

Although at the time of going to press the results were still unofficial, the initial tally showed that Niran garnered 13,336 votes, over two-thousand more than his nearest rival, Surat Mekavarakul’s 11,238.
