Novelist Dean Barrett will be
signing books and will give a talk on “Writing in Thailand” at Pattaya’s
oldest and largest expat meeting, the Pattaya City Expats Club, on Sunday
January 30 at 10.30 a.m. The group meets every Sunday at Henry J.
Bean’s Restaurant at the north end of Pattaya Beach Rd from 9:30 a.m. -
noon for an international breakfast buffet and helpful advice for expats.

The Asian Business Club is very proud to celebrate
its First Anniversary on Sunday January 30 with an extraordinary

Van Gogh in Pattaya. Dutch
actor Klaas Hofstra portrays in this one person play the inner
most soul of Vincent van Gogh through letters written to his brother, his
mother and sister. Hofstra gives his exclusive performance in English
on January 28 from 8 p.m. (curtain time). The performance is at Ben’s
residence next to the Jomtien Pacific Hotel area. Duration of the play is 100
minutes and includes an interval of 15 minutes. Entrance fee is 500 baht
