The German speaking Catholic community celebrated their
Christmas feast at the chapel of the Redemptorist Center. Though
there was no mass that day, the people still enjoyed themselves with some
good food and refreshing drinks. Wolfram was on hand to accompany the carols
on his keyboard while Felici Curschellas gave a few bethought words before
Christmas and New Year. Franz from Switzerland recited a Christmas ode.
Suddenly the toll chimed and an angel stepped in, also reciting a poem in
which the community became the main character. Afterwards, the angel
distributed gifts to the crowd.

the lucky winner Namfon Sanguanruang who received two roundtrip air tickets
to Chiang Mai sponsored by Thai Airways International and two nights stay in
a deluxe room at dusitD2 Chiang Mai. The gala dinner was held at the hotel’s
Napalai Ballroom; the guests were then ushered to The Point for the New Year
countdown and fireworks display. Guest performers included Thailand’s famous
diva Nantida Kaewbuasai and well-known impersonator Michael Tung.
