Pictured here at the BCCT Networking Pub Night at
Jameson’s Irish Pub on Friday January 18 are Richard Harvey of the early
seventies rock band Gryphon, Colin Hastings of Hot Chilli fame, Kim
Fletcher, the big fat landlord of Jameson’s, and a rather startled looking
Brian Gulland, who was also in Gryphon, who during his time with the band
was credited with playing amongst other instruments, bassoon, various
crumhorns, recorders, keyboards, low recorders, and low krumhorns. Kim
hastens to add that yes Brian sometimes used to play most of these
instruments on stage at some time! No wonder the slightly bemused look.
