thrill of a lifetime, being welcomed into scouting by Royalty. King Carl XVI
Gustaf of Sweden was in Pattaya this past week to welcome new members of the
World Scout Foundation.

Utapao to be upgraded to handle more passengers
Utapao Airport is changing its name to Utapao International Airport and is
moving to upgrade its facilities to be able to service up to 1,200 passengers
daily instead of 400 currently.
Airport Deputy Director Captain Siripong Sukkasem outlined the planned
improvements at the monthly meeting of the Thai Hotels Association Eastern
Chapter at Erawan Hotel the Royal Cruise on February 19, presided over by
association president Chatchawan Supachayanont.
“We are developing this airport to help rebuild confidence for tourists after

the Thailand National Games for the Disabled, held recently at Phitsanulok,
