Prince Malhotra represents
the Pattaya Mail in leading staff in prayer.
To commemorate the 18th
anniversary of the Pattaya Mail, a religious ceremony was held at our
offices on July 23, the day we published our first newspaper in 1993.
Five monks from Wat Nong Yai chanted prayers and
bestowed blessings on the company staff and all those who attended.
Pratheep Malhotra, founder of the Pattaya Mail Media
Group officiated at the ceremonies, while his sons Kamolthep ‘Prince’
and Suwanthep ‘Tony’ along with our ‘PM family’ participated in the
prayer sessions.
The Pattaya Mail Media Group publishes the Pattaya
Mail, Pattaya’s First English Language Newspaper, the Pattaya Blatt, the
German language newspaper for Thailand and produces the Pattaya Mail on
TV (PMTV) show which is broadcast on 4 cable stations in Pattaya and the
Eastern Seaboard. We also operate the Chiang Mai Mail in the north of
Thailand.

staff in deep meditation and prayer.
Peter Malhotra said, “This is another milestone in
the history of our company. When we first started, my sons were still in
school. Time sure flies fast. Now all 3 of my sons are university
graduates and are fully involved in the operations of the various
departments of our company. They are the new generation businessmen and
I look forward to them taking over the helm of our operations someday.
“I sincerely thank members of our team which are too
many to mention here, but I especially take my hat off to Dan Dorothy,
our executive editor for his commitment and dedication throughout the
years without which we could not be where we are today and achieve the
highest honour of being the ‘Best in the East’ for the past 13
consecutive years.
“My sincere gratitude to all our other team members
and staff. With your help and hard work we can claim to be the most
successful newspapers in the region.
“We promise to continue to give the best of news and
information to our loyal readers for a long time to come.”
