An Isaan volunteer policeman and his girlfriend were arrested
on drug charges at a Nongprue market.
Jiraporn Thongmiphai, 27, was charged with selling 1.6 g. of
crystal methamphetamines and Saimai police volunteer Pichet Ketsanchai, 28, with
drug-use charges while driving his girlfriend to a staged drug buy at Phuyai Kui
Market.
Nongprue police found no drugs on the Pichet and since he was
only driving, they could not charge him with distribution.
