Panga Vathanakul (left), Managing Director of Royal
Cliff Hotels Group welcomes Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and her
cabinet upon their arrival at the hotel for the 5th
Mobile Cabinet Meeting, held on June 17-19. Panga Vathanakul proudly said,

H.E. Christine Schraner Burgener (2nd
left), Ambassador of Switzerland to Thailand, and H.E. Christoph Burgener (3rd
left), Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Lao PDR and the Union of
Myanmar, Embassy of Switzerland were guests of honor at the “Maturball 2012”
held at the Amari Watergate Hotel Bangkok recently. The event was
organized by Swiss School Bangkok-European Education which saw more than 200
Swiss guests in attendance, including Pierre Andre Pelletier, the hotel’s
GM, Michael Gwerder, Director of Swiss School Bangkok, Adriana Gwerder,
Johanna Vanska, Rene K. Fritschi and Michael Gschnaidner.

Andre Brulhart (4th left), GM of
the Centara Grand Mirage Resort Pattaya presents a donation of 20,000
baht to Father Pattarapong Srivorakul (3rd right), chairman of Father Ray’s
Foundation and Father Dr. Picharn Jaiseri (centre), the vice chair. The
funds were raised during the 9th anniversary celebrations of Zico’s
Restaurant last month.

In an effort to help Pattaya City beautify our beaches, Pichit Kangwoljit,
director of the Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, recently donated 2,000
beach umbrellas to Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome.

During the most recent sales promotion trip to Pattaya,
representatives of Air Madagascar, Air New Zealand and Cebu Pacific Air paid
a courtesy visit to Massic Travel, the Eastern Seaboard’s friendliest
travel agents, to update them on the new promotions and services offered by
their respective airlines. On hand to welcome them were Marlowe Malhotra and

Taking time off from the strenuous board meeting held in
Pattaya last month, Rotary International President Kalyan Banerjee (2nd

To commemorate World Environment Day June 5, a combined
team of staff and officials from the Amari Orchid Pattaya, the Naklua
Bay Preservation Group and the Pattaya Public Health and Environment
Department together with almost 100 students from Banglamung School
participated in the ‘Pick Up Garbage, Love the Sea’ campaign to clean up the
Nokyang Canal in Naklua.

To commemorate her birthday, Achana Snitwongse Na
Ayudhaya, Managing Director of the Montien Hotel, Pattaya hosted a
lunch for children at Wat-Sam Nak Ka Thorn School in Rayong province
recently.
