Duty-free retailer King Power International Co. donated more than a
half-million baht in cash and items to the Pattaya Orphanage while treating
the children to lunch and entertainment.
Director of Creative and Corporate Communications Sukhrudee
Pongpantwattana and 33 other King Power executives and employees brought to
the donations to the orphanage Aug. 18 where they were welcomed by director
Fr. Michael Weera Phangrak.
The “Sharing Power” event raised 500,000 baht to fund the purchase of
rice, dolls, toys and other items for orphans.
Following the presentation, Wichai Ling put on a hip-hop music and dance
show for the children. King Power employees then prepared lunch for the
kids, along with sweets and ice cream.
The puppet troupe does a break
dance for the party.
