Hospital employees are

more.
Patcharapol Panrak
Queen Sirikit Hospital has launched tai-chi classes for
employees to encourage them to live healthier and exercise more.
Rear Adm. Khanin Sumouanthayee, the naval medical center’s director,
opened the first class for 49 employees Oct. 24. Class manager, Capt.
Kittisak Sainut said there will be 18 classes to carry out the Royal
Thai Navy’s policy to promoting social medicine.
He said health checks showed employees needed to exercise more, but
often were too busy to make the time. Thus the classes were begun at the
hospital each Wednesday.
Khanin said classes are also open to local residents and strengthens the
military by having healthier personnel.
