A teenager sustained cuts and broken bones when he crashed his motorbike
into a pile of dirt left on Sukhumvit Road by construction workers.
Singhsamut student Chettnath Nutnet, 15, was treated at Queen Sirikit Hospital
after the Dec. 19 accident at the 167-kilometer marker in Bang Saray.
Witness Chaiyant Ruanphrom told police the teen had hit dirt that had spilled
over from the construction site of the Ban Bangsarae housing development. The
soil had been piled up along the roadside where it will be used to cover
drainage pipes being laid.
Police contacted the development’s owner to order workers to remove the road
hazard.
