Striking GM Rayong workers take fight to U.S. Embassy, Prime Minister’s Office
Around 2,000 striking workers at
General Motors (Thailand) Co.’s Rayong factory are picketing outside the plant,
saying the automaker added a Saturday shift without paying overtime. Company
officials have agreed to meet, but are denying wild claims the company is losing
10 billion baht a day during the strike.
