It’s that time of year again, when the
rains are quickly followed by mosquitoes and the dangerous outbreak of dengue
fever. Shown here, a city worker sprays insecticides to kill mosquitoes, the
prime carriers of dengue fever and malaria. City officials have been visiting
area neighborhoods in an attempt to educate the public about this health threat.
Famed Thai musical band Carabao brought music to the ears of inmates at
Pattaya Remand Prison, putting on a concert while also donating 400,000
baht in musical instruments and stereo equipment to the Nong Plalai
facility.
