Burmese man injured
in fall from 3rd floor balcony

A Burmese man was injured when, during a round of heavy drinking, he
fell from a third-floor balcony.
Identified only as “Jor,” the 25-year-old migrant fell from the top
floor of a shophouse near the corner of Soi 15 and Soi Buakaow. He was
rushed to Banglamung Hospital.
Witnesses reported seeing Jor, a laundry attendant at the Welcome Hotel,
drinking with some of the 10 other Burmese workers living above the
7-Eleven market. He’d apparently walked out on a balcony and lost his
balance.
