Four area Lions Clubs installed new presidents for the coming year.
Pattaya Deputy Mayor Verawat Khakhay presided over the July 27 ceremony at the
A-One Royal Cruise Hotel for the Lions Club District 310C clubs of
Pratamnak-Pattaya, Naklua-Pattaya, Banglamung-Pattaya and Maptaput-Rayong.

Members from various clubs sang to add color to the event and to strengthen
relationships between the Lions members. In addition, Pattaya Ladies
Developmental Group members and an actress from the Ruan Thai Show Restaurant
performed.
Entertainment completed, new district Gov. Sakchai Taechawaet installed the new
presidents.
Navin Khakhay replaced Somyos Khotkhaew as head of the Pratamnak club. Jankrin
Pinthanont took over for Sotkhun Duangdara in Naklua. Sasithorn Klitiang took
over for Kittichai Phibanphakdee at the Banglamung club. And Darunee Weeraphan
began a second term as head of the newly formed Maptaput chapters.
Verawat congratulated the new presidents, saying the Lions Club has always
supported Pattaya and that its members are determined to work for the benefit of
society through charity, education and patriotism.
