The Burapha Bike Week rolled again into the Eastern National Sports Stadium in
Jomtien Beach, drawing fewer motorcycle enthusiasts than last year, but still
generating more than 20 million baht for Pattaya.
The two-day “week” kicked off with the 17th’ “ride for peace” through the
streets of Jomtien Beach and Pattaya. The project raises awareness about the
importance of wearing helmets and promoting peace, unity and friendship among
Thai and foreign bikers.
Bikers started at the event venue, turned right toward Sukhumvit Road and
proceeded north through the Thepprasit intersection, turning east on North Road.
Riders continued down through the Dolphin Roundabout, down Beach Road to Bali
Hai Pier and into Jomtien Beach and back to Soi Chaiyapruek 2.

14-15 event with top area political, police and tourism officials attending.
Burapha Motorcycle Club President Prasan Nikaji welcomed big bike clubs from
Thailand and around the world, including Kazakhstan, Russia, Cambodia and Laos.
The attendees sang the national anthem to respect HM the King and Queen and
enjoyed fireworks.
The show drew more than 10,000 big bikes, American classic cars, classic
choppers, motorbike stunts including off-road shows and hundreds of booths
selling merchandises all night.
Patrons also enjoyed concerts from Micro, Tom Dandee and other leading artists.
There was also cowboy, paramotor, off-road, parachuting, and extreme sports
shows. Booths sold bikes, parts, security systems and other items.
It’s not a motorcycle, but it is a
beautiful horse.
