Orderly parking does not compute at Tukcom

One of the biggest complaints about South Pattaya’s Tukcom
electronics mall is the lack of parking. The severity of the problem is
obvious on small streets surrounding the South Road store.
The shop owners and their customers travel there by car or motorbike
every day. The small parking lot fills quickly, leaving bikes parked
wherever they can on the street.
Some people just double park along both sides of the street. Many of the
shop owners extend their stores out to the sidewalk, resulting in less
room to walk and, additionally, many vehicles are parked in front of the
shops creating a very busy area.
Where are the Pattaya municipal officials who are supposed to control
parking? Perhaps they’re inside picking up a bootleg copy of the
Keystone Cops.
