His Excellency Jesus Miguel Sanz (2nd left), Ambassador
of the European Union to Thailand and his son were guests at Amari
Pattaya recently. They were greeted by Resident Manager Richard Margo
(left) and Public Relations Manager Pichchaya Nitikarn (2nd right).
The Management of the Amari Watergate Bangkok, led
by GM Pierre Andre Pelletier (front 3rd left), hosted dinner to congratulate
and thank outstanding team members for the year. The party was held at the
Baan Kanitha-Asiatique the River Front.
Congratulations are in order for Rudolf Troestler
(centre), GM of the Hilton Pattaya, who celebrated 20 years of
service with Hilton Worldwide. Troestler’s two decades of professional
working experience in hospitality bears testament that he will continue to
drive Hilton Pattaya’s aim to be the hotel of choice for both business and
leisure travelers.
The Sunshine Hotels & Resorts Group held their
annual community responsibility event by awarding 107 scholarships worth
231,500 baht to children of hotel staff employed in their seven hotels and
resorts. The ceremonies were presided over by the group’s president, Sunt
Supornsahatrangsi. Other management in attendance included Group Executive
Directors Thanet Supornsahatrangsi, Thana Supornsahatrangsi and Rassmiman
Supornsahatrangsi.
Central Festival Pattaya Beach, together with Pattaya City
Hall, the Water Works Department (Pattaya Region), Bangkok Hospital Pattaya
and the Amari Pattaya jointly took part in the ‘Sukhawatdee’ CPN environmental
project whereby they conducted repairs at Thamsamakhee Temple. Attending the
activity were Krisana Maprang-on, Assistant Manager of the Building Department,
Mongkol Sirilekh, Systems Manager for Central Festival Pattaya Beach, and
Sukanpat Homchuen, Assistant Manager of the Amari Pattaya.
Travel Daily Asia’s ‘Thirsty Thursday’ was held the
Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya’s Zulu Jungle Bar recently.

Over 2000 delegates gathered at the Royal Cliff Hotels
Group and its prominent flagship, Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall
(PEACH) for the Go Diamond Asia Pacific 2014 from May 1-4, 2014. At the end
of the seminar, Michael Goh, Resident Manager of PEACH presented a “Tree
Planting” Certificate along with a fire tree to Jeff Neuber, Chief Executive
Officer of Network 21 International, Inc., and Renee Merris, Vice President
- Business Development of Network 21 International, Inc.
