Pattaya Beach has come alive this past week with Pattaya Carnival 1997. The festivities include music and dancing, stage shows, fun and games booths, food and beverages and a jovial crowd revelling in the carnival atmosphere.
The carnival is expected to reach a feverish pitch with the final activities staged for this weekend. The grand finalé, and for many the highlight of the carnival, will be the parade on Saturday the 11th featuring more than thirty floats. The parade will begin at 5 p.m. at the curve near th.e Dusit Resort and will extend to the pier in South Pattaya. The parade will be followed with a fireworks display. A schedule of events planned for this weekend

Carnival would not be as much fun without these lovely musicians to liven up the party.

Don’t miss the exciting final weekend of Pattaya Carnival 1997. There are still plenty of fun-filled activities left for this weekend on the beach between Sois 2 and 6.
Stages have been set up for music and entertainment and will feature everything from Thai bands, Swiss and German bands totalling about 120 people, ancient Thai cultural performances, ancient boxing, traditional drum and dance performances, and much more.
The grand finale of the week of festivities will feature a parade with more than thirty floats which will begin at 5:00 p.m. near the Dusit Resort and proceed all the way to the pier in South Pattaya.
