The Pattaya Expats Club is all about expats
helping expats and all nationalities are welcome. Free assistance on one
year visas, medical insurance, home buying etc., so find out the facts before
you make an expensive mistake. Breakfast meetings, every Sunday,

presentation by the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital on their services and some

The German language club Die Weltenbummler
will have its second lunch meeting on April 11th at 12.00 noon at the Moon
River Pub in front of the Thai Garden Resort. Everybody who

Natter, Nosh and Noggin is being held on
Monday April 8 (as always, the 2 nd
Monday of each month) at Shenanigans at 7 p.m. Meet up with
others who enjoy things motoring. Bring scrap books, magazines, old
photos, assorted girlfriends and share (books, that is). Generally, the
club meets in the back room, but just ask any of the Shenanigans staff
where Dr. Iain is and they’ll point you in the right direction and
give you a push! Shenanigans have their cheap steak night (B. 195) on
Mondays too, so the club generally chats over food and drink – hence,
“nosh and noggin”.
For those interested in playing the stock market,
sharing research methodology or just exchanging ideas, etc., then this
is for you. The ‘Wall Street Fools’ meet every Wednesday at
12 noon at Tequila Reef Cantina & Mexican Grill, Soi 7, 30 meters
off the beach.

Education
In less than two months of operation, AUA have
already had over three hundred and twenty students register for English
language courses at their new school in the Pattaya Bazaar. To
accommodate the many inquiries for daytime classes, AUA are running three
week summer courses. The next course runs from April 22 - May
9. The cost of each 30 hour program is 1,500 baht + textbooks. For

Events
The Rose Garden Hotel is holding its second
fancy dress night on Friday 5th April. The theme this month is a Clown’s
Night so come along and have a great time. The fun starts at 8
p.m. and goes on until late. There will be music, buffet, and a prize
for the best costume. The Rose Garden Hotel is located on Pratamnak
Road, before the fitness park.
The Pattaya Gay Festival, now in its second
year, continues its successful fund raising for Heartt2000 and local
charities. The next PGF event will be a charity dinner at Amor
Restaurant at 8 p.m. on Monday April 8. Tickets are 880 baht per

The first International TIBHAR Table Tennis
Training Center in Thailand is now open. Located on the fifth floor
of Mike Shopping Mall, Pattaya Second Road, it offers table tennis
lessons for children and adults at all skill levels. They will hold
their first tournament on Saturday and Sunday April 13-14.
