Pattaya Panthers and the community remember lost friends in the wake of Bali
A somber mood swept over Shenanigans Pattaya last
Saturday afternoon as members of the rugby fraternity and the community
gathered to mourn the premature death of one of their brethren, Chris Kays.
At 2 p.m. there was no band playing or heavy revelry, but instead a clear
reminder of the tragedy that has struck so many around the world. This is of
course the barbaric and senseless act in Bali one week before.

Seventh Bangkok Book fair graced by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided
over the Opening Ceremony of the Seventh Bangkok Book Fair, on October 11 at
the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. HRH the Princess presented
plaques and certificates of appreciation to the supporters, organizers and
to the winners of the Illustrations for Young Readers and the Fair’s
Slogan contests.
