AustCham Thailand, led by Shane Torr (4th left),
president of AustCham Thailand organized an AustCham Sundowners that aimed
to strengthen networking opportunities among the members of the Commonwealth
in Thailand. The event was held at the Sukhothai Hotel. At the event were (L
to R) Mark Butters, director of BCCT; George Benney, GM of the Sukhothai
Hotel; Ron Livingston, president of Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Shane
Torr; Chris Dunning, president of New Zealand-Thai Chamber of Commerce;
Nadeem Amin, treasurer of the Thai-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce; Maurice
Bromley, president of South African-Thai Chamber of Commerce; Nigel Cornick,
CEO of Raimon Land Plc, and Oh Lock Soon, president of Singapore-Thai
Chamber of Commerce.
Fredi Schaub and Bruno Pingel from Ocean One Tower recently
hosted a Pattaya Council Dinner Party at Bruno’s Restaurant attended
my Mayor Itthipol Khunplome, former mayor, Niran Wattanasartsathorn and the
new city council members.
Achana Snitwongse Na Ayudhaya, MD of the Montien Hotel,
Pattaya recently donated educational equipment and other supplies, and
hosted lunch for the teachers and students of Wat Sam Nak Ka Thorn School in
Rayong.
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Hong Kong, led by
assistant director, Wanaprapha Suksombul (centre) and marketing manager,
Keith Wong (seated centre) were recently warmly welcomed by the management
team of Amari Orchid Resort & Tower at its Executive Floor, Horizon
Club. The group had a great time during their hotel inspection visit.
