Recently at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok, Alumni President Robert Jaermann, GM of the Dream Boutique Hotel, and over 60 members of the Lausanne Hotel Management School honored Kurt Wachtveitl, GM of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Bangkok, and Kurt Rufli, former MD of the Amari Group, at the occasion of their retirements.


 

At their wedding at the Ambassador City Hotel Jomtien, Kittikorn Ngampuengpis and Nattaporn Boonpuan, the newly wedded couple (center), is flanked by the bride’s parents, Capt. Sanit Boonpuan, President of the Rotary Club of Sattahip, his wife Kritsana, and Pratheep Malhotra, Governor of Rotary International District 3340 (right).


 

Tony Smith (second right), representative of the Tourism Authority of Thailand New Zealand, recently made an inspection visit to Pattaya with NZ golf media journalists to promote the resort city as an ideal venue for upcoming golf tours and events. The group was welcomed by Tanaphol Rodpinyo (center), sales manager of Dusit Thani Pattaya, where they stayed during the visit.


Amari Orchid Resort & Tower Pattaya, in cooperation with the Pattaya Fire Brigade Team, led by Chief Surapol Sawasvichien, recently organized the ‘Annual Fire Knowledge & Evacuation Training Program’ for the hotel’s operational staff, at the free-standing Aranda Ballroom.


Achana Snitwongse Na Ayudhaya (front, 3rd left), managing director of the Montien Hotel Pattaya, recently hosted a birthday party lunch and donated stationery and other supplies to the Banmab Fagthong School in Rayong.


Members of the German ‘Plauderstunde’ gathered at the Cabbages & Condoms Hotel to hold their monthly meeting and to celebrate Gerda Lang’s (kneeling left) and Lianne Ehrlich’s (kneeling right) recent birthdays.


During their stay in Thailand, Alexander Doniyenko and Yaga Dshirina exchanged wedding vows to join in holy matrimony at Pattaya’s Nong Nooch Tropical Garden.
