Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya is hosting a charity concert titled “A Night with the Diva” on Saturday, December 12 starting at 6 p.m. and featuring Thai singing sensation ‘P’ Amp Saowaluck.  Tickets are priced at 2,500 baht per person (pay for 9 people only when book a table of 10) and include a reception cocktail and buffet dinner from the chef’s selected menus, music from ‘P’ Amp Saowaluck and Prime Pitch Band from the Philippines, a fireworks display, and a grand raffle draw with some fantastic prizes to be won. The next Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) meeting will be on Sunday, Nov. 29 and everyone is warmly welcome to attend.  The club meets every Sunday morning at Henry J. For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the phone.
