The morning of Monday November 15 saw an auspicious
occasion of Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya performing a Buddhist ceremony to
mark their 9th anniversary in Pattaya. 9 monks from Chaimongkol Temple gave
blessings to the hotel and its band members led by general manager Jorge
Carlos Smith. On this special occasion, the hotel also announced its 20
month long program of the extensive renovation which is estimated to be
complete by mid 2012.
Passapon Hetrakul (3rd left) and Non Rujiwong (2nd
left), assistant distribution manager of the Daily News newspaper recently
attended the wedding ceremony of Sunisa Daanathee and Bandhit Ratniyom,
nephew of Srisuda Ratniyom (left), owner of Mahakri bookshop, the leading
newspaper and magazine distributor in Pattaya. The event took place at the
Sawang Boriboon Foundation in Naklua.
David Cumming (left), GM of Amari Orchid Pattaya
receives the ‘Smoke Free Hotel’ award from the president of the Green Leaf
Foundation, Dr. Suvit Yodmani (right). The culmination of the work involved
in receiving this award highlights the emphasis the hotel places on
environmental issues.
Ploy Pailin Ottesen (right) daughter of Ib and Kannikar
Ottesen, recently celebrated her 13th Birthday with friends and family at
the Jomtien Boathouse. Joining Ploy were brothers Allan Ottesen (2nd
right) and Svend Edgar Ottesen (left), who flew in from Denmark for the
occasion.
