Vitanart Vathanakul (4th from right), Executive Director

MICE-China familiarization group on their recent visit to the resort. The
group was also taken on a tour of Pattaya’s largest and best MICE venue, the
Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Centre (PEACH).
Philippe Delaloye (centre), General Manager of the
Pullman Pattaya Aisawan was thrilled to welcome Chompoo Araya A. Hargate
(left) and Aun Wittaya Wasukraipaisarn (right) two famous Thai movie stars
to the resort for a film shoot recently. The thespians co-star in a new TV
drama called “Dok Som See Thong” that will be aired on TV Channel 3 shortly.
Pattaya is a popular destination for Rotary seminars from
foreign countries. Recently Rotarians from District 3070 India held their
Inter City Meeting at the Siam Bayview Hotel. The visiting Rotarians
were led by District Governor Man Mohan Jerath (4rd left). On hand to
welcome them were District Governor Thongchai Lortrakanon (5th right), Past
District Governor Pratheep Malhotra (3rd left), both from District 3340,
Thailand along with members of the Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya.
Students from the Rajabhat Kamphaeng Phet University made
an educational visit to the Holiday Inn recently. They were welcomed
by Itsarapong Jantrakul, Events Manager and Chat Chinsri, Banquet Manager
who gave them a grand tour of the facilities and ensured that they took back
with them valuable knowledge of the hospitality business.
Siam Hotels & Resorts in conjunction with
Ramathibodi Foundation and Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd. held a charity
concert “Give Heart, Give Life” at the Siam City Hotel recently. In total,
6,041,575 baht was raised which will be dedicated to the “Liver Transplant
from Parent to Child Program”; giving life to Thai children with liver
disease. The benevolent family and partners pose for a commemorative photo:

Nichaya Chaivisuth (3rd left), President of the Hotel
Public Relations Association of Thailand in co-operation with the
Tourism Authority of Thailand recently organized a PR & Media trip to
stimulate domestic tourism. They also donated funds they raised to Tapana
Nuntapanich (centre), from the Sian Hud Yi Temple in Chonburi to support
their various charities. Other members included Sukrita Chomdhavat,
Panasporn Nopsri, Rakjit Kittikamron, Katha Chinnabunchorn and Panisa
Kitjakanyawat.
