A Swedish man stopped at a routine police checkpoint was
arrested after testing positive for illegal drugs.
John Peter Josefson, 25, was caught around 2 a.m. April 6
at a checkpoint on Soi Bonkai. A later search of his room uncovered drug
paraphernalia, but no illegal narcotics.
Josefson was one of about 10 people arrested for flunking drug tests
conducted by officers at the Soi Bonkai stop.
