BCCT is joining with Jameson’s the Irish Pub
Pattaya to invite you to a Royal British Wedding Festival on Friday 29th
April 2011 from 6.00-8.00 p.m. Entry is free of charge and from 6.00-8.00
p.m. there will be some free drinks for BCCT members and happy-hour prices.
Jameson’s has all day programs from BBC Live playing with the soundtrack on
the big screen from 1 p.m. with lots of typical British bar snacks free. 10%
of all takings for the day will be given to Jesters Care4Kids Charity Drive
2011.
Pattaya International Ladies Club will be
celebrating the Royal Wedding between HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton
in style at the Pullman Pattaya Aisawan Hotel Ballroom, Naklua. This
is an open event for PILC members, their spouses, partners, guests and
members of the Pattaya community. Tickets include welcome drink, canap้s,
viewing of the Royal Wedding on large screen, dinner buffet, Royal Toast:
Date 29 April 2011 (Friday). Time 3 p.m. onwards. Tickets at Baht 800 can be

The Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2011 beauty pageant
will take place from May 1-6 in Pattaya with 30 transgender contestants
battling it out to win the prestigious crown. Contestants will be taking
part in various events and challenges throughout the week and will face the
final judging round on May 6 at the Tiffany’s show lounge in Pattaya. All
profits from the contest will be donated to Red Cross Thailand Organization.

The next networking evening of the Lighthouse Club
Pattaya will be held at the Marriott Resort and Spa on Friday the
6th of May and on the next day, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m., the Lighthouse
Club will hold their first ever family day at Pinnacle Resort & Spa. This
promises to be another fun event, this time geared towards children, which
in turn will help disadvantaged children in our community. Admission to the
family day is Adults: 600 baht, Children 12-years: 350 baht, Children under

The organizers of Pattaya Pride 2011 invite
everyone to a fun charity quiz night to take place on Tuesday, May 10 from 9
p.m. at the Panorama Pub in Boyztown, South Pattaya. Quiz entrance is
100 baht per person and all the proceeds will go to support Pattaya Pride

The YWCA and Swiss Embassy Charity Bazaar will be
held on May 28 from 2 - 6 p.m. at the Swiss Embassy compound in Bangkok.
Expositions and a fashion show will be held along with music performed by
the Mauri Monti Trio. Entrance fee is 1,600 baht with the proceeds going to
“Le Sourire de Chiang Khong” - a home for street children and former child

Clubs and Associations
The next meeting of the Pattaya City Expats Club
(PCEC) will be on Sunday, May 1. Everyone is warmly welcome. The guest
speaker will be member Gary Hacker who will be giving his perspective on
buying real estate in Pattaya focusing on what to look for and the pitfalls.
The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea Restaurant
located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort).
The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available
from 9 to 11 a.m. Each week the PCEC usually has an interesting speaker to
talk on various subjects of interest in an informal setting. The program is
followed by the ever lively and often humorous Open Forum where questions
are asked and answers given about living in Pattaya as well as an update on

For the past 28 years the Samaritans of Thailand
have been providing confidential crisis intervention services over the
telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English Help Line operates
24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the expatriate
community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention will
provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the
phone. All calls will be handled on an anonymous basis and are free of

The Rotary Club Pattaya Marina meets every Friday
