Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome presents a tree sapling to
Atcharaporn Namdee, Human Resources Manager of the Centara Grand Mirage
Beach Resort Pattaya as a gesture of goodwill and appreciation for
joining City Hall’s campaign to preserve and protect the country’s natural
resources on World Environment Day.
PJ Powers, a.k.a. Penelope Jane Dunlop (2nd left), one of
South Africa’s most consistent and consummate performers, was warmly
welcomed on her recent stay at the stylish new Hilton Pattaya by
Harald Feurstein, the General manager, Peta Ruiter, director of business
development and Sumitra Chimpiboon, front desk manager. Popularly known as
“Thandeka”, PJ Powers is a household name in South Africa, and her hit song
“Jabulani” is known by music lovers spanning all generations, languages and
social classes.
Prakit Saiporn (left), from the Tourism Authority of
Thailand (TAT) office in France led a bevy of gorgeous Dutch finalists in
the Miss Netherlands 2011 Beauty Pageant on a visit to Thailand, where they
were guests at the Amari Watergate Bangkok. Sparing no opportunity to
be amongst beauty queens, GM Pierre Andre Pelletier (right) and RM Ingo
Domaschke (centre) were on hand to greet them.
Lewis ‘Woody’ Underwood (right), chairman of the
Jesters Care for Kids, presents a certificate of appreciation to Dave
James in gratitude for his most recent Platinum Sponsorship (100,000 baht
donor), which is the 7th consecutive year that he has joined the Jesters
Charity Drive at this level.
Dusit Thani Pattaya welcomed representatives from
the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT)-Shanghai as they brought a group of
Chinese media representatives to Pattaya for a familiarization trip of all
the resort city’s tourist features and attractions. Aloysius Michael (5th
left), the five-star resort’s resident manager, supervised the tour of the
hotel facilities while he briefed the group, led by Pornnan Sunhachan
(right), assistant director of the TAT-Shanghai office, on the unique
selling points and other hotel features that make it one of the most
preferred resorts to stay in Pattaya.

The Royal Cliff Hotels Group welcomed 12 top
Chinese tourism and media agents for a site inspection of the property
recently. The group was warmly greeted on arrival by Royal Cliff Hotels
Group’s managing director, Panga Vathanakul (2nd right), general manager,
Joachim Grill (left), and sales manager (China), Linlin Gou (right). The
Royal Cliff Hotels Group is also home to Pattaya’s largest and best MICE
venue, the Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Centre (PEACH).
