The Pattaya Mail staff bid farewell and good luck to a university intern
who spent four months learning all facets of the business.
Assistant Managing Director Suwanthep Malhotra hosted the Sept. 30 party
for Watjana Thaworn, an English communication major at Rajamangala
University of Technology Tawan-OK’s Bangphra campus. Company executives
presented her with flowers and scholarship money to continue her
studies.
Watjana’s four-month internship saw her work in the Pattaya Mail
Publishing Co.’s public relations, editorial, photography, advertising
and finance departments. She also shot photographs, wrote a story, sold
advertising and assisted editing photos.
“The four months of professional training has given me important
experience to adapt to financial, political and social environments, the
ability to work with personnel from all departments and to participate
in social reform of the nation,” Watjana said. “I would like to express
my heartfelt gratitude to all the employees from all departments for
teaching and providing knowledge, I am touched and extremely glad to
have interned here.”
