This year’s week-long Pattaya Countdown to 2012 will begin
with fireworks, a Christmas tree light up and music on Christmas day, December
25.
Minister of Culture Sukumol Kunplome will preside over the
lighting of the Christmas tree at 7 p.m. at Bali Hai pier.
The event will then continue through New Year’s Eve, December
31, featuring nightly stage performances at the Bali Hai pier.
Booths will be set up along Beach Road from the Central
Pattaya intersection to the front of Walking Street entrance, and continue from
the other end to the stage area (during the same period).
