Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome
has announced his intention to run for re-election in May.
“There are still many projects remaining before the
end of my four-year term,” Itthiphol said March 5. The mayor is putting
the final flourishes on his CV to show voters the many projects he
initiated during his term.
“I can assure that we have been given support from
residents, leading to the success of many projects, although some plans
are still in the drafting stage with many more to be introduced in the
future.”
Itthiphol said he will head a new “Rao Rak Pattaya”
slate of candidates for city council and district positions.
“Rao Rak Pattaya has selected many people with
knowledge and talent for many positions in the team to strengthen our
potential, including inviting experts or academics with knowledge from
many branches to consult and advise,” Itthiphol said, noting the exact
party platform will not be released until election season officially
begins.
