Pattaya police arrested three people accused of dealing drugs out of a Bali Hai Pier pub.

Surachat Iemaeam, 25, and Wilaiwan Buapen, 41, were arrested in a sting operation at the Klongtom Market, next to Mini Siam, May 28. Using an informant, police set up the fake drug buy after spotting Wilaiwan’s car outside her ad hoc pub near the pier and hearing accusations from locals she was involved in selling drugs.

In the arrest, police seized 22 packets of crystal methamphetamines and 138 ya ba tablets.

Under interrogation, police said, Wilaiwan confessed to selling drugs supplied to her by husband Preecha Charoensuk.

Searching Wilaiwan’s Sukhumvit Soi 33 apartment, police found another person and 0.6 g. of ya ice, as well as marijuana. The additional suspect, identified as Chatchai Kritsana, was also arrested on drug charges.
